it's summer every day
summer when you're around

My galpal Sophie’s favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth (because it’s RAD for kids and adults!), so I made her a personalized mini tollbooth of her own for her birthday (which was in August so this was basically a half birthday gift!). I wanted to fill it with things that make me think of her like traveling and gardening and drumming in a cool band and being an adventurous grrl warrior so that when she feels uninspired or gloomy on her journey she can pretend to shrink herself into a place where she can be reminded of how cool she is!

It was SUPER fun to make and tiny detail is my jam so I’m proud of it!
